Giuseppe Zanotti, Lanvin, Dolce and Gabbana, Gucci, Akris

Omg guys, Zanotti was so miserable when I shot them. Like beyond boring and not like their usual awesome self. Then they had these VS made shoes on display and that was the only thing worth snapping...I hope this doesn't become a regular thing. The actual Holiday Windows are even more blah. WHAT IS HAPPENING?!

Lanvin did nothing, shocking.

As much as I thought these were blah, the real Holiday windows are actually worse. I prefer these then. Ugh Lanvin, WHY?!

More shocking than Lanvin doing nothing is Dolce and Gabbana not bringing out their stupid food table Holiday Windows from the last 2 years. A miracle! These are not the final Holiday Windows. I'm so surprised at how many stores put up their windows later than last year.

Hermes, Etro Holiday Windows 2011

I guess this is the official Hermes 2011 Holiday Window...I still love them. Last year was great but these are so much more fun. They updated the windows a bit more [clothes and an ostrich Birkin! those photos will be up soon...I shoot over 800 shots this season, the most ever! Which means it's going to take some time to get through everything that made the final cut.]

Ooo new cup holder options. Oh Hermes, so amusing.

Etro has just had a rough year, they can't seem to find their footing any more. The lighting is off or the windows are off, now some of the clothing is off...what's going on guys?

I mean, seriously? I guess if there are womens shoes [Louboutins] that look like this, it's only fair for men to suffer as well.

Dior, Calvin Klein, Agent Provocateur Holiday Window 2011

Ugh this post is full of more messes. Can you tell how unimpressed I am with most of the windows this season? So sad.

But let's not pretend I had any hopes, let alone high hopes, for Dior.

OMG BUY SOME FISHING WIRE, TIE IT TO THE HANDLES, MAKE THEM STRAIGHT. WHY IS THIS SO HARD?!

What the Paris Hilton is this?

By the grace of God, this one was some how straight.

Another totally surprising disappointment this season was Calvin Klein. They gave us an epic sex swing last year and this year...what? I couldn't do a full shoot the first time because Barneys blocked off the sides to set up Gaga, but there will be another round, I promise.

Some how Agent P. is the best of this messy post...look at your life choices Dior and Calvin.

Miu Miu Holiday Window 2011

Ah Miu Miu, worthy of it's own post with only 2 windows and great detailing. We've had our ups and downs this year, but I think Miu Miu is ending it on a high note. The beautiful Versailles looking lacquered walls with gold detailing and great toned jewelry holders/custom furniture really just did it for me. It felt special and holiday but not grotesque and over calculated.

Ah so good.
