Fred Segal, Paul Smith, Kiki de Montparnasse

I paid a special trip to Fred Segal [a readers request] only to be disappointed by it's only window. If you only have one window, it better be epic without the fail. Sadness.

I see you Wang.

Cargo is a trend that should stay in 2005, just saying.

To set off the disappointment, I ran across the street to Paul Smith [trying to avoid being hit by cars because I was so excited.] I was greeted by some pretty epic visual merchandising.
This is how you do one window justice.

A kind of unexciting shot from across the street but I had to take it.

Finally some Kiki to kick the week off properly.

Chanel, Cavalli, Valentino, Michael Kors, YSL,

Can't sleep on this...haha. Sorry for the cheese. I'll take the sneakers over that ridiculous eye mask though.

It's no secret that Karl Lagerfeld loves Chrome Hearts, but to the point of knocking it off for Chanel? That's some dirty shit right there Karl.

These mannequins seemingly came out of no where with their Rapunzel hair and sassy styling.

No words how much I dislike this Cocoon collection. DNW EVER.

Accepting my love of Roberto Cavalli hasn't been easy...when he makes things like this I can cosign. Even if it's looking a little Tory Burch. But then...
IMG_6854
he makes things like this and I want to scrub my eyes out with soap.
IMG_6857
Speaking of things that make me shake my head in shame...VALENTINO!!
IMG_6858
I can't...this legit makes me sad.

Sometimes Michael Kors surprises you in the best way possible...do work.

Ysl, after seeing the dreadful resort line and discussing how horrid s|s 2010 has been...let's at least put more fun effort into the windows? It would be your only saving grace at this point.

Max Mara, Etro, Giorgio Armani, Hermes

I feel like I've become incredibly lazy lately. Maybe it's because it's finally summer and warm and I don't want to spend my days behind a computer screen...well more of my nights because my days are spent behind two 24" monitors. So I apologize for the sloppy midday posts, hopefully by next week I'll be back to normal posting schedule and get a chance to shoot NY again. Let's discuss how epic these Max Mara shoes are instead of my slothness. I've mentioned/shot them before and I've shot them twice for this post because I'm all sorts of tingly in love with them. I would never wear them [Supras > anything that isn't a sneaker or a comfy flat] but I would like to cleanse my eyes with them more than the Chloe counterparts. But if anyone is feeling generous in donating a pair...you have exactly 1 month until my 24th birthday.

Hello babies
IMG_6811
I've ignored my beloved Etro for far too long, blame it again on a case of the lazy because I can never seem to cross Madison avenue for the store. Luckily Rodeo Drive is like 1 city block and there was no excuse to not capture the sartorial perfection.
IMG_6812
Looking cross eyed and crazy!
IMG_6813
Delicious shoes for both sexes.

The new Missioni store is breathtakingly beautiful, sadly the windows were pretty dark and the store itself was impossible to shoot without a tripod/different lens. So I left with only one image...
IMG_6821
Armani and the creepy Nimue looking mannequins that haunt me in my nightmares...I just can't with these. Can we get the old ones back asap?

And finally some Hermes in this megapost...loving it all. And they don't shut their lights off at 12:02 like the NY store. INTERESTING.
