Bergdorf Goodman x The Model as Muse

Bergdorf Goodman honored the Metropolitan Museums Costume Institutes theme this week. The Model as Muse took over most of the main windows as well as one of the side windows. Iconic fashion images serve as the backdrop to todays latest and hottest looks. Sadly I won't have time to check out the exhibit before my trip to California, but it's the first thing I plan on doing when I get back!

This makes me sad :( Stupid studded Balmain shoe, ruining mannequin feet.

I can't explain why, but I think this mannequin looks like Gisele.

A retrospective of Lillian Bassmans photography, perhaps one of the most underrated famous photographers.

Saks x Chanel

Several things. I went to shoot windows yesterday while it was drizzling because I know I wouldn't have a chance to before my extended Cali vacation. And decided to scrap the rest of last weeks miserable window attempts. I wanted to double post Saks because it was actually good last week, but decided not to as of 5 minutes ago.

While shooting Barneys I saw a sign that said "Meet Stella McCartney! Q&A with Simon Doonan 1:30 May 5th" It was exactly 1:53 and I decided to try my luck at being late. Well Stella had the same plan because we ended up riding the lift together and I covered the story for my paper. You can read about the amazing Stella here. I even spoke to Simon after the session was over and told him about my blog. So Simon if you're reading this right, A++ and if you're not, this is my facial reaction :'( even though I currently look like that because my allergies won't leave me alone.

Onto Saks, because Saks Chanel'd it's windows out for the launch of the new Chanel Movie staring the adorable Audrey Tautou. The trailer is playing throughout the shots. So happy delayed Cinco de Mayo with Chanel.
