Happy 61 degree weather New Yorkers, after it being snowy and like 15 on Tuesday, I think we deserve it. I'm sure everyone knows how I'll be spending my lovely Saturday. Shooting up 5th avenue [I sound so much more badass saying it like that, haha] and eating Yogurtland on Bleecker street. So if you see someone overly excited skipping all over the city with a camera in tow, don't be afraid, it's just me. Hermes for the blind? Seriously, who thought this wouldn't be read that way. xxii
These Vera Wang necklace photos made me ask myself if I even took these. I love them, and I'm not really one for selective focus like this. So thanks for the lack of light Vera window dressers, sometimes it works better than a well lit item. But it's rare, so don't think about slacking if your window isn't Veras. This is so ugly Michael, seriously--tin foil status. I only like these needlessly sparkly shoes is because I already own the matching ring. But mine is black/white/these multi coloured opaly stones and I've had it for almost 3 years now :') Is this a joke? How did this a) get made and b) be on display instead of the Marie Antoinette Louboutins. xxii
Woo for being insane/overly dedicated and shooting last night on Madison for an hour in probably 25 degrees. Good times. Tom Ford and I are in a fight, but more on that later. But feel free to gasp/speculate now.
I just wanted to mention, following my "are these even bigger?" little upgrade, you can ALWAYS click on my photos to make them larger. They're not super large but large enough to see details instead of just sticking to the blogger page. I know it's kind of annoying, but not everyone wants to see everything larger and I don't know how else to do with over 200 photos a week. So yeah. Okay, windows.
This is such a weird/awkward positioning of the arm, it reminds me a person trying to imitate a chicken. xxii
So I'm trying something a little new. I know that we're all used to my medium sized clickable photos but a few people told me that they think I should go big from the start. Well, I'm always down for a change [I finally even made a header...after a year and 5 months, haha] so let's try this and if it works, let's keep doing it? Opinions would be lovely, so don't be shy. I want people to get the most out of my blog when viewing it. I don't see that much of a sizing difference but who knows, this is "large" instead of "medium" I love this new ad on McQueens wall too much to not shoot it. I want something from this diamond cut print collection. So dreamy. I love McQueen [obviously, I have a pulse and eyes] but this print is more than questionable to me, especially coming from him. FINALLY, Matthew Williamson is here. It didn't take nearly half as long as Ports 1961 being built, in fact it was probably a quarter of the time. And while I was annoyed that the store never replied back to my request to attend the opening during fashion week [and this was under press, not just this blog] I decided that I needed a better reason than that to blacklist them. I've only blacklisted Hugo Boss, so don't worry, I'm still fair. xxii
