Let's call this the stores that I never really post, post. Missoni has never made it to the blog. Usually their windows are too bright and usually I'm too tired by then to bother. This time I started from the top to work my way to the bottom of Madison, and had no excuse to at least try.








Seriously obsessed with the snake pearl necklaces by Vera Wang. Totally Chanel glove status. I think Vera Wang makes incredible jewelry pieces. I prefer them to her clothes/gowns/dresses/wedding stuff any day.

This post might just be my are they serious with these items post...because I just don't know. I would hide this stuff in the back, let alone produce it. Onwards to what I think are questionable design choices.


Yeah, we're still going to do neon/ugly hot colours for 09? Okay, I'm going to ban it for 2010, let's get on board for the movement.

What is this? I can handle the neon better than this preschool water painting attempt.

Oh no, they went to another level of fail with these. What's sad is that Guiseppe makes beautiful forms, but then it goes into this weird land of what the hell is that?

In case white isn't your thing, we have pink!! Needs less pink for spring, k designers? Thanks.

Oh remember the super limited edition fancy shoes that are probably not made for actual wearing? They were all white satin last time, well for spring...pink satin! Oh so brilliant, sign me up for 3 pairs. [/sarcasm]



Ungaro, change your windows to something else. Please. The "snow" is hilarious because it's sugar? I'm not sure, but it made me laugh.







Does a bad economy mean less ugly crap is going to be produced? Because I need to know who approved this weird cheap bug looking toe. I won't even start on the corkscrew.

Gucci, Dolce and Gabbana, Donna Karan

What the hell is this? It's a drugged dog on a really ugly bag, right? If I ever ever ever see anyone with this ugly logo mania charm/bag, I'm going to have to ask them why. Anyone else really missing the Tom Ford days? Because between that ugly 3rd grade seashell project dress above and this stoned dog below, I'm so so soooooo over Gucci.





Gosh I love Donna's dramatic lighting and draping.

Jil Sander, Luca Luca

I don't understand how it was 66 on Monday but now it's like 19, 20, 33...this doesn't work for me. Where do I address my weather complaint?

Anyways, Jil Sander was lovely as usual but to be honest it's more than time to at least change the background. I love light boxes but you can't just ride their awesomeness without changing up the images for like 5 months.

Even Luca Luca took down their images and just left the boxes as a form of lighting the displays and I still appreciated it. Hopefully Jil has something new and fabulous in store for us to look at in 09.
